The Right Theme For Your Blog

Far Fetched?
Nope… Feng Shui

Feng Shui is this fancy Chinese method if you will, of aesthetics where you use astronomy (stars) and geography to increase the flow of qi (energy flow) into your life. It can calm you, energize you, and help you with health. It can also help you with romance and relationships.

Don’t ask me how it works… I have no idea.

Anyways…

My Sister came over once and tried to convince my wife to move our bed so that we would face west. Believe me when I say this didn’t go well. I got an ear full when Sis left.

“How dare she come in here and tell how to decorate my house!”

Don’t Get Angry With Me, I Didn’t Make It UP

Point being… Where we hang out  dramatically effects our mood. zenI’m not sure about reading graphs, pulling star charts and geography maps to determine where I am going to put my couch, but I do believe that things like lighting (natural or not) and colors (my favorite wall color is usually in a shade of blue) will affect our moods.

And… not only that… I think it’s very much the same for our online ‘homes’.

Everyone is different and likes different things, so it’s certain that some folks will enjoy hanging out at your blog and some will just not ‘feel’ right and most likely head off into cyberspace.

This Feels Right… Doesn’t It?

So… for the first time EVER, I am totally psyched about the WordPress Theme I’ve installed. I have installed many kitty_01in my day. Some free… Some not. This theme however, has marked an ending for me. My search for the perfect ‘online’ blog design is over.

I literally feel like I can come to this blog and lounge out while working in it. The tension I used to feel with other theme’s is gone because I KNOW this platform works and my theme works. I feel like I finally have my footing on solid ground.

I used to literally browse around every so often, trying to find a new theme because the one I was working with sucked. Unfortunately, that was always discovered after putting hours into installing it and messing around with the settings.
